This Privacy Policy explains how RunLiftHIIT ("the App", "we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application. RunLiftHIIT is operated by AuroraFitnessAndFun.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal details to use the App. Certain optional features may collect limited information such as:

• Device information (model, OS version)
• Country or region (for analytics and ad serving)

1.2 Usage Data

We may collect data about how you interact with the App, including:

• Features used and screens visited
• Session duration
• Crash reports and performance data

1.3 Location Data

The App requests access to your device location to track outdoor runs and calculate distance, pace, and route. Location is collected only during an active run session when you explicitly start tracking. Background location is used solely to continue tracking if you leave the app mid-run. We do not store precise location data on our servers; run data is saved locally on your device only.

1.4 Health & Fitness Data

With your permission, the App reads and writes data to Apple Health, including workout records and calorie information. We only access health data you explicitly authorise. We do not sell, share, or transmit your health data to any third party.

1.5 Advertising Data

The App uses Google AdMob to display ads. On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission before enabling personalised advertising. If you decline, only non-personalised ads are shown. AdMob may collect:

• Device advertising identifiers (IDFA, if ATT permission granted)
• Approximate location
• Ad interaction data
• Interests (for personalised ads, only if ATT permission granted)

You can withdraw ATT consent at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iPhone.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain the App and its AI-powered features
• Track your workouts, runs, and fitness progress
• Generate personalised workout plans via AI
• Display ads to support free access to the App
• Improve features, performance, and user experience
• Fix bugs and crashes

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Google AdMob

Used for displaying advertisements.

3.2 Apple Billing

Any in-app purchases are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment details.

3.3 AI Services

The App uses AI to generate personalised workout plans. Workout preferences you enter (e.g. fitness goals, equipment, experience level) may be sent to our secure API to generate your plan. We do not link this data to your identity and do not retain it beyond the duration of the request.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including:

• Secure communication protocols (HTTPS)
• Minimal data collection — we only collect what is necessary
• No storage of sensitive personal or health information on our servers
• Workout and run data is stored locally on your device

No mobile app or internet service is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices

You can:

• Deny or revoke location access in Settings → RunLiftHIIT at any time
• Deny or revoke Apple Health access in Settings → Health → Data Access
• Opt out of personalised ads via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
• Delete the App at any time to remove all locally stored data

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
